The Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Shinji Shimada; hereafter "B.LEAGUE") is pleased to announce that all B1 League games for the B.LEAGUE 2023-24 season have been completed and the final B1 League standings and leaders have been determined. The "NISSAY B.LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP 2023-24," a tournament to determine the season's champion club, will begin on May 10 (Fri.). The eight clubs that have won the league matches will compete in the tournament. After the 2023-24 season, two clubs will be automatically promoted from B2 to B1 and two clubs from B3 to B2, and two clubs from B1 to B2 and two clubs from B2 to B3 will be automatically relegated, so there will be no B1 remainder playoffs, B1/B2 replacement matches, or B2/B3 replacement matches.
After the 2023-24 season, two clubs will be automatically promoted from B2 to B1 and two clubs from B3 to B2, and two clubs from B1 to B2 and two clubs from B2 to B3 will be automatically relegated, so there will be no B1 remainder playoffs, B1/B2 replacement matches, or B2/B3 replacement matches.
